NW Corner of Rosehill & Ravenswood

Gallery of work done to transform the corner of Ravenswood & Rosehill, former site of 300-foot cell phone tower 30 years ago and long abandoned, into a new pollinator oasis. Thank you to all the volunteers who provided the labor to make this happen, the generosity of long-term WEAR resident Suzanne Hoffman who funded this project, and Alderperson Andre Vasquez's office who facilitated the removal of the trees in poor condition.

We also thank Possibility Place Nurser in Monee, IL who provided the design and recommendations for the most appropriate native planting for the site's conditions.
